After your registration is approved, the first step to use the Attack Simulator is to provide information about the environment that will be used to generate

Number of Users in your Organization Choose a value specifying the number of users (employees) within your organization. Currently, we have a total set of 665 sample users. Based on the number of users you select, you will be provided a randomly chosen subset of users for your organization.

Network Information for your organization Currently, we assume that the organization has only 2 subnets - Internal and DMZ. You can select Class A, Class B or Class C network for these 2 subnets.

Internal IP Address Ranges Choose the network class for the internal network : Class A, Class B or Class C

DMZ IP Address Ranges Choose the network class for the DMZ network : Class A, Class B or Class C

Number of Devices in DMZ Based on the number of devices you choose in the DMZ, you will get the option to set the host name for the devices and use these when generation logs.

External IP address ranges We assume that you may want to control which countries generate traffic on the devices in the DMZ. By selecting the countries from the list box, you will be able to generate logs containing IP addresses from these countries. We maintain the Country to IP address mapping in a table and use it when you generate logs.

Syslog Server Details AttackSimulator delivers the log via syslog to a Syslog Server. You must provide the IP address or hostname for the syslog server and the port number. We only support UDP protocol for delivering the log.
